Sorrento ,FL : Motorcylist was killed While His picklup turned into his path on Saturday morning , December 20th 2014Authorities say a man died in a single car crash on Highway 207 between Heppner and Lexington after he lost control of his vehicle.

An Orlando motorcyclist died Saturday morning when a pickup turned into his path in Sorrento.

The Florida Highway Patrol said Jason Davis, 31, was riding his motorcycle on State Road 44 at Seminole Springs Road. A pickup truck driven by Claude Oullette of Eustis made a left turn into the path of Davis, who hit the trailer being pulled by the pickup.

Davis was pronounced dead at the scene. Oullette and his passenger, Sandra Sneed, 68, of Eustis were not injured.

The crash closed busy SR 44 for hours Saturday as troopers investigated the crash. So far, no charges have been filed.
