Reno, NV : Gardnerville woman died in three-vehicle collision State Route 88 on Friday November 27 2015
Authorities say a Gardnerville woman has died in a collision at a State Route 88 intersection where a traffic light was not working.
Sixty-four-year-old Janis Hill was pronounced dead at the scene of Friday night's crash.
Nevada Highway Patrol troopers say the victim had been driving a BMW when she was struck by 22-year-old Holly Ducoing in a Ford Taurus. Both vehicles had entered the intersection at the same time.
The impact drove both vehicles into a Honda SUV that had been stopped at the intersection.
Ducoing was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life threatening.
Officials say there had been a reader board alerting drivers that the traffic light wasn't functioning.
The crash is still under investigation.
