Ascutney,VT : Winchester man dies in Vermont crash on November, Tuesday 14th 2017

A Winchester man is dead after crashing his car in Vermont.

Police said Matthew Calder, 31, was heading south on Interstate 91 in Ascutney just before 3 p.m. Tuesday when he drifted off the side of the road, hit a guardrail, went into the median and over an embankment.

The vehicle came to rest in a wooded area, police said.

Calder later died at a nearby hospital.
