Edgewater, NJ : 49-year-old man dead after motorcycle crash in Selby Boulevard on Thursday January 14 2016.

49-year-old man is dead iafter his motorcycle collided with an automobile Thursday afternoon in Edgewater, a county police spokesman said.
The crash occurred in the area of 5th Avenue and Selby Boulevard at 5:25 p.m. The man was transported by helicopter to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore with critical, life-threatening injuries, Capt. Russ Davies, a county fire department spokesman, said.
Police spokesman Lt. Ryan Frashure confirmed Friday morning that the man later died as a result of his injuries.
No one else was injured in the crash. Additional details were not immediately available Friday morning.
