HONEA PATH, SC : One passenger killed in fatal Anderson County wreck on Wednesday, 25th July 2018

One person is dead after an accident in Anderson County on Wednesday.

Highway Patrol tells FOX Carolina a person driving a Chevy Tahoe was heading south on Holiday Dam Road when the driver of a Nissan Altima heading north crossed the center line.

The collision was head-on, and resulted in the death of the only passenger in the Tahoe, who wasn't wearing a seatbealt.

FOX Carolina has received updated information that indicates the passenger killed in the accident is Kala Denise Fletcher, 35, of Honea Path.

The Anderson County Coroner says Fletcher's official cause of death has been listed as blunt force trauma as a result of the accident.
