CEDAR FALLS, IA : Fatal accident investigated in Cedar Falls on Friday, January, 12th 2018

Cedar Falls police are investigating a fatal crash on Viking Road.

The crash was reported about 5 p.m. near the intersection of Viking Road and Winterberry Drive near the BioLife Plasma Services.

Officials said the crash was a fatality. More details were expected to be released later.

The crash shut down Viking Road as multiple agencies responded to the crash. Traffic was rerouted.
