Canton, OH : 6-year-old child killed after struck by a tree branch in Canton on Friday,February 5 2016

A Canton child has died after being struck by a tree Friday afternoon, according to the Canton Police Department.
Around 2 p.m., the department received a call that the 6-year-old had been struck by a tree branch and was pinned down. Police said the girl had been extricated and a neighbor was performing CPR when they arrived on the scene.
The girl was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton in critical condition, and was later transferred to Boston Children’s Hospital, where she died from her injuries.
