Jefferson, LA : 1 injured in 6-vehicle crash near the intersection of Airline Highway and Alco Avenue on Wednesday, 25th December, 2019

At least one person was injured in a six-vehicle wreck Wednesday night on Airline Highway, according to emergency medical officials.

The crashes happened just before 6 p.m. near the intersection of Airline Highway and Alco Avenue, an EMS spokesman confirmed.

One person was brought to a local hospital with minor injuries, he said.

Details about how the crash happened weren't immediately known.
