Orlando, FL : One person dead in a crash in Orange County early Friday morning, December 23, 2016

An early Friday morning crash has left one person dead in Orange County, Florida Highway Patrol said. ?

A 2002 Ford Focus was traveling south on Round Lake Road approaching Meadowland Drive when it veered off the road, struck a tree and subsequently caught fire, officials said.

The incident happened shortly after 1:30 a.m. in Orange County, officials said.

Officials are unable to identify the driver due to the fire, and the crash remains under investigation.
