A Paris man was injured in a Monday morning crash near Mexico.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a 1993 Chevrolet 2500 driven by Larry G. Bounds, 70, of Paris, was northbound on Mo. 15, just south of Audrain Road 367, at 5 a.m. The patrol said the vehicle traveled off the right side of the road, crossed an outer road and struck an embankment, causing the trailer attached to the vehicle to separate and overturn. The vehicle continued through the embankment and struck a fence.
Bounds, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital in Mexico with moderate injuries, police said.
