Four people were hospitalized in a two-vehicle crash in Brandon Monday morning.
According to the South Dakota Highway Patrol, a car with five minors was driving on Aspen Boulevard when in it failed to yield at the intersection of Splitrock Boulevard around 7:30 a.m. A van driving south on Splitrock rammed into that car.
Deputies say four people were hospitalized in the crash, including the driver of the van and three people in the car. The driver of the van was a 39-year-old; everyone else involved in the crash was a juvenile.
One of the passengers in the car was ejected from the vehicle.
The driver of the car was cited for failing to yield.
The Highway Patrol says all four people that were hospitalized were in serious, but non-life-threatening condition. Two other passengers involved in the crash received minor injuries. Three juvenile passengers in the van were not injured in the crash.
