Dillon, SC : Three North Carolina men died in a traffic accident on Saturday morning August 23rd 2104
A weekend traffic accident has claimed the lives of three North Carolina men in Dillon County.
County Coroner Donnie Grimsley tells local media outlets that it happened about 4:15 a.m. on Saturday morning. Authorities say the accident happened when the Chevy Impala that five people were riding in left U.S. 301, went down an embankment and struck a tree.
The victims were identified as 18-year-old Derrick Baker, Jr., 18-year-old Andrew Hill and 23-year-old Wesley Chavis. All were from Fairmont, North Carolina.
The two other people in the car were injured and taken to McLeod Regional Medical Center.
