BROCKTON, MA : Hospital trips all around in Brockton crash on Wednesday, 28th November 2018
A two-vehicle crash resulted in all those involved being sent to the hospital, according to police.
A minivan slammed into the side of a four-door sedan at 5:09 p.m. on Wednesday at Barlett Street and Warren Avenue. At least five people from both of the vehicles involved were sent to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
The driver of the sedan was faulted in the crash, police said. Filipa Montrond, 55, of Brockton, was issued a citation for failure to stop or yield.
“She was on Father Kenney Way, trying to cross Warren Avenue onto Bartlett Street and was struck by the other vehicle. But the other vehicle had the right of way,” said police Sgt. Michael Dennehy. “She had a stop sign and went in front of the other car.”
