Lehigh Acres, FL : Fatal crash closes State Road 82 in Lehigh Acres on Tuesday, December 2, 2014

A fatal two-vehicle crash unfolded Tuesday shortly after 9 pm in Lehigh Acres - at Columbus Boulevard and SR-82. One of the vehicles went into the water of a canal where bystanders and a first responder pulled out the driver who did not survive. The other driver was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital with traumatic injuries. Two other people received minor injuries in the crash. Road blockage was reported on both lanes of SR-82 from Eisenhower Boulevard to Columbus Boulevard - and drivers were being diverted along Meadow Road. source : Fatal crash in Lehigh Acres
