Addison County ,VT: One injured and traffic shut down after tractor trailer Crashed Rocks on Tuesday afternoon ,June 2nd 2015
Traffic was shut down on Route 7 in Addison County Tuesday afternoon.
Police investigated a truck crash in Leicester. Troopers say a tractor trailer was hauling rocks for Cassella from Middlebury to the Omya plant in Florence when it went off the road just before 2.
The crash knocked an utility pole down leaving lines in the road. The driver, 35-year-old Robert Stocker of Florence was taken to the hospital with nonlife threatening injuries.
"You know our best, our number one priority is always safety. So we want to shut down the roadway make sure everyone is OK, make sure there are no live wires across the road," said Vermont State Trooper Kaitlyn Armstrong
The road was closed for two hours and is now back open. Police hope to hear from anyone who witnessed what happened.
