TULSA, OK : A single-vehicle crash at East 60th Street North and North Madison Avenue on Thursday, December, 14th 2017

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating a single-vehicle crash at East 60th Street North and North Madison Avenue.

Troopers say the driver, 56-year-old William Cox, crashed his Dodge Durango into a utility pole just after 6 p.m. Thursday. Cox was initially pronounced dead, but emergency responders were able to revive him, according to officials.

He was admitted to Hillcrest Hospital in critical condition. Cox sustained injuries to his head and chest.

OHP is investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
