Lima, NY : Woman dead and two people serious injuries in head-on car crash on Friday October 2 2015
A woman is dead and two people are being treated for serious injuries after a head-on car crash in upstate New York.
The accident happened shortly before 10 p.m. Friday in the town of Lima in Livingston County.
Police tell the Democrat and Chronicle of Rochester that 44-year-old Amy Patterson was headed east on Routes 5 and 20 when she drifted in to the westbound lane.
Police say Patterson struck a car driven by 66-year-old Wayne Frisbe.
Frisbe's passenger, his wife, Jeannine Frisbe, was pronounced dead at a hospital.
Patterson and Wayne Frisbe are being treated for their injuries.
Police are investigating the crash.
