CORNING, CA : Tehama County sees 4 dead in 2 crashes on Wednesday, 14th August 2019

Four people died in two crashes Wednesday in Tehama County.

Some names of the deceased and injured have not been released due to being a juvenile, pending identification and notification.orning residents Victor Lowery, 35, and Katelyn McCabe, 20, along with a 1-year-old child were traveling in a 2011 Dodge Ram 2500 westbound on Neville Road around 6:35 p.m. Wednesday, north of Stony Creek when the vehicle went off the road at an unknown speed, said a press release issued Thursday by the California Highway Patrol Red Bluff office.

The vehicle rolled over multiple times, eventually coming to a stop in a field south of the road. Both McCabe and the child were ejected from the truck, the release said.

Lowery, who was driving, and McCabe died at the scene of the crash while the infant was taken by helicopter to the UC Davis Medical Center, with major injuries.
