Turpin, OK : Oklahoma teen dies in car crash after driver swerves to miss deer on Tuesday, October 18, 2016
An Oklahoma teen was killed in a car accident after a driver swerved to avoid hitting a deer.
Around 3:15 p.m. on Oct. 18, Cody Hensley, 18, was driving in Turpin, Okla. when he swerved to miss a deer.
Hensley’s vehicle ended up rolling two and a half times before landing on its top.
His passenger, a 17-year-old girl, was ejected from the vehicle.
Hensley and the teenage girl were both transported to a local hospital.
Hensley was treated and released, the accident report states.
Sadly, the 17-year-old girl was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The girl has not been identified at this time.
