A motorist was hospitalized Wednesday following a single-vehicle crash in Glen Burnie, a county fire official said.
Units responded shortly after 4:30 p.m. to Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard and Cedarcliff Drive, and found a vehicle had struck a dumpster and fence, said department spokesman Capt. Russ Davies.
Police found the driver, a 48-year-old man, in a residential area a short distance away from the accident scene, Davies said.
The man was transported to Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore with possibly serious injuries, Davies said.
No additional information on the incident was immediately available.
