Glen Burnie, MD : Motorcyclist injured in a crash near Cherry Lane on Wednesday night, Sep 30, 2015

A Motorcyclist was seriously injured Wednesday night in a crash in Glen Burnie.

Anne Arundel County fire department Capt. Russ Davies said units were dispatched just before 11:30 p.m. to the 6300 block of Ritchie Highway, near Cherry Lane, where they found a three-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle. The motorcycle had been rear-ended by an automobile, Davies said.

The 36-year-old man who was operating the motorcycle was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore with serious injuries, Davies said. There were no other injuries that required transport.
