Durham ,ME : 52-year-old Beth L. killed after her Motorcycle struck utility pole on Sunday night ,August 2 2015

The Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office on Monday identified the woman killed in a motorcycle crash Sunday night as 52-year-old Beth L. Woodmancy of Brunswick.

Woodmancy was driving north on Route 125 near Meadow Road at approximately 7:10 p.m. when she failed to negotiate a curve, left the west side of the road and struck a utility pole, according to a release from Chief Deputy William Gagne.

Woodmancy was not wearing a helmet and died at the scene, according to the release.
