Hilshire, TX : Driver injured after crashes into tree in Hilshire on Saturday night, April 18, 2015

A driver is in critical condition after police say he crashed into a tree in Hilshire Saturday night.

Police say he was taking the exit on Antoine Drive from the Katy Freeway when he attempted to make a right turn and lost control of his vehicle.

Officers say the driver slammed into a tree in the middle of the median.

He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
