Onslow County, NC : Motorcyclist killed after a crash involving military truck in Sneads Ferry on Monday night, April 25, 2016

The North Carolina Highway patrol says a motorcyclist was killed Monday night when he was hit by a military truck from Camp Lejeune.
Troopers say the seven ton truck was going west on 210 -- close to Betty Dixon Road--while the motorcycle was east on 210.
Troopers say traffic slowed down in front of the truck. The driver, 21-year-old Steven Crane of Camp Lejeune, applied his brakes and began to skid and crossed the center line and struck the motorcycle head on.
Thomas Eugene Martin, 68-years-old from Sneads Ferry, was killed.
Crane is charged with driving left of center and misdemeanor death by motor vehicle.
