Honolulu, HI : Motorcyclist seriously injured in collision on Wednesday, August 9, 2017

Emergency Medical Services transported a motorcyclist to a hospital after he was involved in a crash with a vehicle on the H-1 freeway.

The crash occurred at about 6:07 a.m. today in the westbound lanes of the freeway near the Palama Street off-ramp.

EMS Spokeswoman Shayne Enright said the motorcyclist, described to be in his late 60s, sustained leg injuries and was transported to a hospital in serious condition.

He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
