A male juvenile was injured after crashing his bicycle in eastern Lyon County Sunday.
At about 2:05 p.m. Sunday, first responders from Miller and Reading were dispatched to a reported injury accident in the 2000 block of Road 250 — about two miles west of Reading. When emergency crews arrived, they found one patient, a male juvenile, who had crashed his bicycle.
According to scanner traffic, crews on scene said the boy was conscious and breathing, but told first responders he did not recall the accident. Emergency crews initially asked dispatch to check on the availability of a LifeTeam helicopter because they feared the patient had suffered a head injury. The possible air transport was cancelled a short time after.
Further information will be posted when it becomes available.
