San Carlos, CA : One person injured after Truck crashes into home near San Carlos on Monday afternoon, February 29, 2016

One person was injured when a truck crashed into a home near San Carlos Monday afternoon, fire officials said.

The crash was reported at 1:13 p.m. at 240 Windsor Drive near Winding Way in the unincorporated community of Devonshire.

The owners of the home were on vacation in Hawaii and are now on their way home. Firefighters from Redwood City and San Carlos, which have shared fire services since 2011, joined Cal Fire crews in responding to the crash, Redwood City fire officials said on Twitter.

One person was injured in the crash, which caused the spilling of some diesel fuel, fire officials said.
