Quincy, IL : Both drivers injured in two-vehicle crash Thursday south of Quincy on Thursday, 25th August, 2016

Both drivers were injured when two vehicles collided at 8:01 a.m. Thursday on South 24th at Payson Road.

The Adams County Sheriff's Department said a 2016 Chevy Suburban driven by Talia E. Miller, 25, of Quincy, was heading south on 24th while a 1998 Ford Escort driven by Justin W. Trammel, 27, of Quincy, was heading north on 24th when the two vehicles collided as Miller was attempting to turn left onto Payson Road.

Both drivers suffered moderate injuries and were taken by ambulance to Blessing Hospital. Both vehicles sustained major damage.

Miller was ticketed for failure to yield while turning left.

The Tri-Township Fire Department and the Adams County Ambulance Service assisted at the scene.
