A Central Texas city spokesman says one person has been killed and four have been injured in an interstate crash that ignited two semitrailers and another vehicle. San Marcos spokesman Trey Hatt says a semitrailer carrying gravel lost control on Interstate 35 on Tuesday while trying to slow down for a separate accident. He says the semitrailer struck the median before hitting another vehicle and forcing it to crash into the other semitrailer. He says those vehicles caught fire and five others were damaged in the crash. Hatt says the wounded people were hospitalized with injuries that weren't life threatening.
