Aiken, SC : One person died, two injured in a Car Crash in Aiken County Sunday morning, October 1, 2016

The Aiken County Coroner says one person died on the scene from a car crash Sunday morning on the intersection of Chesterfield Street and Columbia Avenue.

An Aiken Department Public Safety Officer was pursing 27-year-old Andre Jackson Jr, driving a 2005 Mitsubishi at a very high speed. Jackson lost control of the car and crashed into the a tree.

Two other passengers in the vehicle were taken to Augusta Medical Center where they are in critical condition.

An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow.
