A 20-year-old woman has died after being struck by a pick-up truck as she crossed a road in Rensselaer County. Police in North Greenbush say Jessica Carter of Rensselaer was crossing Route 4, just east of Exit 8 of Interstate 90, when she was struck around 10 p.m. Saturday. She was transported to Albany Medical Center, where she died. Police say Carter was struck by a Chevrolet pick-up truck driven by Kurt Chandley of Feura Bush.
