Pioneer, WA : 2 injured in collision at the intersection of Pioneer Hill Road and Highway 3 on Monday, 25th January 2021

Drivers of two vehicles were taken to area hospitals Monday following a collision at the intersection of Pioneer Hill Road and Highway 3.

A State Patrol report says a 2003 Honda Odyssey headed east on Pioneer Hill Road and entered the intersection onto Highway 3 in front of a 2001 Ford F250. The Ford was headed northbound when it collided with the vehicle on its passanger side.

The driver of the Honda, Hamad Alotbi, 23, of Poulsbo, was transported to St. Joseph hospital in Tacoma with serious injuries. The driver of the Ford, April Griffths, 26, of Belfair, was taken to a Kitsap hospital with minor injuries.
