West Linn, OR : Woman dies after SUV crashed through window of Noodles restaurant in West Linn on Monday, March 9, 2015

A woman who suffered a medical episode before crashing her car into a West Linn restaurant on Monday has passed away, authorities said.

Gloria Jean Bellefleur, 71, of West Linn, was parked outside the Oodles of Noodles restaurant in the Robinwood Plaza shopping center when she shifted gears in her tan 2003 Chevy Blazer, said Sgt. Mike Francis of the West Linn. Bellefleur then suffered a major medical episode and backed through the restaurant's front windows.

Bellefleur, who was not injured in the crash, was taken to the hospital but could not be revived, Francis said. The nature of the medical episode is still unknown, Francis said.

Krystal Espiritu, 49, of West Linn, was standing near the doors when the crash occurred. She suffered minor injuries and was treated and released from a local hospital.
