Wagon Mound, N.M : Arizona man dies in New Mexico crash on Interstate 25 about 8 miles north of Wagon Mound on Thursday, September 4, 2014
New Mexico State Police say an Arizona man died when the vehicle he was riding in overturned on an interstate.
Authorities say a Ford pickup truck heading northbound on Interstate 25 about 8 miles north of Wagon Mound rolled over Thursday.
They say the pickup somehow entered the median and overturned six times.
Police say 68-year-old Oscar Brown was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, 67-year-old Vivian Brown, also of Arizona, was airlifted to a hospital in Santa Fe and is listed in critical condition.
The accident remains under investigation but officials say driver inattention may have been a factor.
