Odessa, TX : No injuries in collision on Tuesday, June 20, 2017

No injuries were reported Tuesday during a collision between a full-size pickup and a mid-size SUV on South West County Road.
The driver behind the wheel of a Kia Soronto was cited for failure to control speed following the collision that was reported shortly before 10:30 a.m. The motorist was heading north in the 800 block of South West County Road in the vehicle when it veered to the southbound lanes of the often busy roadway, Odessa Police Department spokesman Cpl. Steve LeSueur said.
The SUV collided into a 2001 Ford F-150 truck that was traveling south. The officer’s report said nothing about a head-on collision or whether one of the vehicles having rolled over on impact into a pipe yard, LeSueur said.
