Topeka, KS : Larned man, 63, dies in a single-vehicle crash on Friday, January 20th 2017

A 63-year-old Larned man died Friday afternoon in a one-car crash northwest of Larned.

According to a Kansas Highway Patrol crash log, Kent A. Kirkwood was driving a passenger car northbound on 150th Avenue half a mile north of T Road in Pawnee County when the car went left of center and struck a concrete bridge railing at 2:30 p.m.

Kirkwood was taken to Pawnee Valley Community Hospital in Larned but succumbed to his injuries and died.
