Two people are dead following a crash in Xenia Twp.

It happened just before 4 p.m. Wednesday in the 2000 block of Old U.S. 35 East.

Authorities say 68-year-old Michael Jacks of Jamestown was traveling westbound when the vehicle he was driving crashed head-on into the vehicle that 41-year-old Brett Lemon of Xenia was behind the wheel of.

Sgt. Frank Simmons says heroin and alcohol were found inside the car that Lemon was driving.

According to Simmons, Lemon’s vehicle was also carrying two passengers.

Both were taken to Miami Valley Hospital, one in critical condition and the other is stable.
