Lancaster, MO : Hamilton man injured in crash in Schuyler County on Monday morning, April 18, 2016

A Hamilton, Ill., man was seriously injured in a Monday morning crash in Schuyler County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a 1989 International dump truck driven by James F. Carel, 66, was westbound on U.S. 136 on the east edge of Lancaster at 5:50 a.m. when it traveled off the right side of the road. The vehicle overcorrected, returned to the roadway and overturned onto the driver's side in the roadway.

Carel was taken by Life Flight to University Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa.
The patrol was assisted by the Schuyler County Sheriff's Department and Schuyler County Fire Department.
