JACKSONVILLE, FL : 2 men struck, 1 killed after parked pickup truck hit by car crashes on I-295 exit ramp to I-10 on Monday, 26th February 2024

A 42-year-old man is dead and another is injured after a car struck a pickup truck stopped near the Interstate-295 north exit ramp to Interstate-10 eastbound, causing it to move and hit the two men who were on the scene Monday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The pickup truck was on the scene assisting a tractor-trailer repair a tire at the time of the crash around 11:45 a.m., according to an FHP crash report, which does not indicate if the men were the drivers of the two vehicles.
