HOMOSASSA, FL : Man seriously injured in wrong-way crash with drunk RV driver in Citrus County on Saturday, 10th November 2018

The drunk driver of a RV has left a Homosassa man seriously injured following an overnight head-on collision in Citrus County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Stanley Thomas Trammell, 60, of Morriston, was driving the wrong way on Suncoast Boulevard in Homosassa at the time of the crash at 12:18 a.m. Sunday.
While operating under the influence, according to FHP, Trammell’s 2004 Fleetwood Bounder RV crashed head-on into a 2008 Ford F-150 pickup driven by 26-year-old Robert Scott O’Steen.
O’Steen is currently hospitalized in serious condition at Bayonet Point Hospital, according to a press release from FHP.
In the report, FHP noted that Trammel was not injured in the crash and has been charged with DUI and driving in the wrong direction.
