BRANDON, FL : A 56-year-old man died Friday after a motorcycle crash on Friday, November, 10th 2017
A 56-year-old man died Friday after a motorcycle crash earlier this week when he was hit by an unlicensed driver, according to the Hillsborough Sheriff's Office.
Michael Dewey, of Brandon, was severely injured after a Saturn Vue crossed into the path of his 2013 Kawasaki Vulcan on State Road 60 early Thursday evening, deputies said. The driver, James Chavez, 28 of Tampa, was charged with failing to yield to the motorcycle's right of way and driving with a suspended licensed.
Deputies had originally said the car's owner, Amy Rumball, was the driver. Rumball, 39, is now facing charges for allowing someone to drive her car she knew did not have a valid license.
