A man was killed in an accident Tuesday afternoon at a South Baltimore landfill, police said.

James Tyler, 61, of the unit block of Eastership Road, was pinned between two trucks at the landfill, police said Wednesday.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, and the death appears to have been accidental, police said.

The landfill is a dump site for the public on Quarantine Road in Hawkins Point.
