Frederick, MD : Troopers respond to single-vehicle crash on I-270 near Fingerboard Road on Friday, February 3, 2017

One lane of Interstate 270 was briefly closed Friday after a man's car flipped over.

Maryland State Police said the single-vehicle crash happened on southbound I-270, near Fingerboard Road.

Troopers responded to the scene around 12:45 p.m. The driver, 49-year-old Shelton Walker, of Frederick, sustained minor injuries, but declined to be taken to the hospital, said Sgt. Stephen Johnson, a supervisor with the Frederick barrack.

Walker's burgundy Nissan Ultima overturned after Walker lost control of the car, Johnson said.
