Cambridge, WI : Four people injured when car crashes into Dollar General store on Jefferson Street in Cambridge on Wednesday, March 9, 2016

A man who mistook a gas pedal for a brake pedal crashed his car into the Dollar General store in Cambridge, according to a release from the Dane County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were called at 2:20 p.m. Wednesday on a report of a single-vehicle crash at Dollar General at 213 Jefferson Street.

Deputies said Leonard J. Dahl, 88, of Deerfield, crashed into the front entrance of the building as he was entering the parking lot.

Three people inside the store, ages 35, 69, and two months were taken to Fort Atkinson Hospital with minor injuries. Dahl was also taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
