A Granger man is dead after a motorcycle crash in Berrien County

The Berrien County Sheriff's Office says that Jaime Daniel Brown, 47, of Granger was involved in a crash on Elm Valley Road, just east of Mill Road in Weesaw Twp. at around 12:30 a.m. Friday.

According to police, the motorcyclist was found in a ditch on Elm Valley Road. Police say life-saving measures were taken at the crash scene. Brown was declared dead at the scene of the crash.

Police say, in their initial investigation, speed and alcohol appear to be a factor. Brown was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
