Alabaster, AL : One hospitalized after crash near Alabaster on Sunday afternoon, July 27, 2014

A rollover vehicle crash caused major delays Sunday afternoon along Interstate 65 near the U.S. 31 interchange.

The crash occurred about 3:15 p.m. near Exit 238. Witnesses said a Jeep flipped off the roadway.

One person was injured and taken to UAB Hospital for treatment, according to the Alabaster Fire Department.

Authorities closed all but the left lane through the crash area for about an hour. Delays eased by about 4:30 p.m.
