One dead Accidents involving motorcycles near Gainesville Florida

One person was killed in one of at least three motorcycle accidents in the Gainesville area over the weekend.
The latest occurred Sunday night in South Hall near the Falcons complex at Jim Turk Park Road and Martin Road.
On Saturday, 44-year-old Christopher Todd Childers of Winder died in a crash involving two motorcycles in North Hall.

The state patrol said Childers was killed when his bike slid into oncoming traffic, hitting a motorcycle operated by Judson Jay West, 34, of Cleveland.Childers was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center, where he died. West walked away uninjured.

The third crash occurred in Lumpkin County on Saturday night. State troopers said 22-year-old Clifford Byron of Dahlonega was flown to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta from that wreck, which occurred on Black Mountain Road and also involved a pickup.
