Buffalo, N.Y : Passenger injured in crash on I-290 near the Sheridan Drive Overpass Thursday evening, April 6, 2017

Dawuan Hicklen, 24, of Buffalo, was ticketed for speeding by Amherst Police after his car crashed on the 1-290 near the Sheridan Drive Overpass Thursday evening, injuring a passenger.

Hicklen's passenger was taken to the Erie County Medical Center with complaints about head pain, according to officials. Hicklen was also ticketed for having a faulty tire.

He faces Amherst Town Court proceedings in coming weeks.
