A stolen pickup truck crashed into three cars, leading to the arrest of two men for theft and drug possession, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department reported Saturday.At 2:50 p.m. on Friday, Lake Elsinore sheriff’s deputies attempted a traffic stop on a white Chevy Silverado, said Sgt. Nathan Kaas of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.The pickup truck sped away from the deputies and crashed into three other vehicles at Collier and Central avenues in Lake Elsinore. No one was injured in the crash, and it was determined that the Silverado had been stolen from the city of Wildomar earlier that day, said Kaas.The driver, Shayne Moore, 21, of Wildomar, was arrested for suspicion of vehicle theft, possession of stolen property, driving under the influence of drugs and a violation of probation.Martin Perez, 25, of Wildomar, was arrested for suspicion of possession of heroin, being under the influence of drugs and resisting arrest.Both men were booked at the Southwest Detention Center in Murrieta.
