Nashville, TN : Man of Ashland City has died in a motorcycle crash on westbound Interstate 24 near Joelton on Monday morning September 1st 2014

An Ashland City man has been killed in a motorcycle crash on westbound Interstate 24 near Joelton. Metro Nashville police say 35-year-old Eric Shane Jobe was riding his 2008 Suzuki motorcycle when he went off the right side of the road Monday morning, hitting a parked 1997 Buick LeSabre. The crash happened at mile marker 36 just after 6:30 a.m. Police say there was no evidence of alcohol or drug involvement. Jobe died at the scene.
